International dissertation award
Fondazione Silvestro Marcucci
The Fondazione Silvestro Marcucci award,
co-financed by the Accademia Lucchese di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, is
a biannual award given to a doctoral thesis of philosophical subject,
related in particular
to Immanuel Kant or the kantianism and its developments until contemporary
philosophy.
The award consists of Euro 5000, which can be used, according to the will
of the author, to partially or completely finance the publication of the
thesis in the series of the foundation itself.

2009-2010 Edition
The award for the years 2009-2010 has been granted to
Dr. Courtney David Fugate, for the dissertation thesis
The Teleology of Reason. An
Examination of the Sources and Structure of Kant's Critical Philosophy.
The award commitee was composed by
Bernd Dörflinger (Trier), Mario Caimi
(Buenos Aires), Alfredo Ferrarin (Pisa), Luca Fonnesu (Pavia),
and Claudio La Rocca (Genova).

open. The application shall be submitted using the following
