Directions from Viareggio

  • By car: take SP5 (Via di Montramito) from Viareggio sud until the conjunction with SS439 (Sarzanese-Valdera). Here turn right and continue towards Lucca. Go through the villages of Piano del Quercione, Massarosa and Bozzano and enter the village of Quiesa. Continue on SS439 until the Piazza della Chiesa and turn left. Remaining on the left side of the church, turn right, continue for about 200 meters and turn right. again You can find the enclosing walls of the Foundation on the left, after few meters.
  • By bus: take the busline Viareggio-Lucca, not "direttissima", and get off at the last bus stop of the village of Quiesa. Take Via G. Spinola and continue untill the crossroads with Via della Montagna. Turn right, entering a private street, with a line of cypresses. The entrance of the Foundation is at number 147.
