From Pisa

By car: take SS1 (Aurelia) towards Viareggio. In the locality Madonna dell'Acqua, turn right in Via delle Palanche. At the crossroads with Via Ernesto Che Guevara, turn left, towards Pontasserchio. Once in the village of Pontasserchio, at the crossroads with Via Giuseppe Di Vittorio, turn left. Pass over the bridge on the Serchio river and turn right, towards Filettole and Avane. Pass through the two villages, and immediately after the bridge on the highway A11 (Firenze-Mare), turn left, in Via di Radicata. Remain at the side of the highway and turn right at the first crossroads in Via Pietra a Padule, towards Massaciuccoli, Quiesa and Massarosa. Continue and pass through the village of Massaciuccoli, until you enter the village of Quiesa. At the first crossroads, turn right in Via di Mezzo. Continue until the crossroads with SS439 (Via Sarzanese). Turn right and continue until Piazza della Chiesa. Turn left and remain on the left side of the church. At the next crossroads, turn right, continue for about 200 meters and turn right again. You can find the enclosing walls of the Foundation on the left, after few meters.
